The Memorandum of Understanding on Port State Control for West and Central African Region (Abuja MoU) is a maritime cooperation organization focused on port state control and safety standards across member states. As a membership-based institution, its website plays a critical role in communication, transparency, and collaboration among stakeholders.

AbujaMOU’s previous website had been in operation since 2007. Built using now-obsolete technologies such as Flash, the platform had become outdated, difficult to maintain, and increasingly incompatible with modern devices.
